New! buildZen bash Script for Ubuntu and Debian Distros
Wednesday, 09 July 2008
For those of you using a Debian based distro, it's not been super easy for those of you new to kernel compilation to build the Zen kernel for various reasons. That said, the precompiled packages I used to build didn't usually cut it, because they weren't custom for you, and they didn't work correctly with certain drivers.

In lieu of that, I have put together a bash script that will walk you through the entire kernel configuration and compilation progress, called buildZen. buildZen works, but is a beta. Please drop a comment if it doesn't work for you.

To try buildZen, click here.
