Abaranger:A Review
Sunday, 26 November 2006
I enjoy watching Japanese TV, even the kids shows. This includes Super Sentai, which means "Task Force." Sentai in Japan has been going for 25 years or so, and its fight footage is used in the American "Power Rangers" series, which I am a fan of too.

Abaranger is set in present day, and in an alternate universe where dinosaurs are still alive, an evil force is attacking a black ranger. He, followed by the evil force, jumps through a wormhole and ends up in present-day Tokyo. The dinosaurs have evolved to the point of being intelligent and able to speak, and have somehow become mechanical beasts (thats one weird thing)... The story and plots are much better than our Abaranger equivalent, known as "Power Rangers: Dino Thunder." They do get slightly repetitive from time to time, like Scooby Doo, though. I give Abaranger 3.7/5.0 .  You can find it various places, and if you are rich, buy dvds. I downloaded my episodes, which can be found at Power Rangers fan forums. I will post some links to those in the liks category. Note:Don't get this confused with Kyoryu Sentai: Zyuranger.

I would have to say that my favorite Sentai series are Kyoryu Sentai: Zyuranger, and Bakuryuu Sentai: Abaranger. Power Rangers wise, I like the original 3 seasons of Mighty Morphin', and Dino Thunder.

Below are the three pieces of episode 10 of Abaranger, with subtitles. More episodes can be found on YouTube by searching for Abaranger. Below the three videos of the episode below are two movies. Enjoy!

Episode 10:

Movie:Abaranger Vs Hurricanger
