Although I celebrate Christmas, being a devout Evangelical,
I am still a geek, and have a love for all things geeky. This includes the
famous, or infamous, depending on how you look at it, "Star Wars Holiday
Special." Originally airing on November 17, 1978 , it is known as one of
the worst productions ever made, George Lucas was once quoted saying he would
like to "smash every pirate copy with a hammer." This is something
that will never escape the Lucasfilm vault and go to DVD. Therefore, it is
necessary to pirate it. Get a copy of Azureus
(arguably the best Bit Torrent Client) and use one of the torrents below.
Carrie Fisher sings (badly, to the Star Wars Theme), as well as a number by Bea
Arthur, and the Jefferson Starship. We also encounter Chewbacca's family. To
understand this Holiday atrocity, please read more about the Holiday Special at
its unofficial site here,
as well as Wikipedia
Note:I personally can't stand to watch this thing more than once a year. I post
this now so that you can have the time you need to download the thing in time
for December. Happy Life Day!

Best Copy is Here, (the one I use and suggest) Best quality, plus the Star
Wars version of the Muppets, and 50+ old Star Wars Toy Commercials. 3.41 GB.
I know that lots of you have flocked here since my G4 is (hopefully) dying article, and I know that you must be fans of the once great ZDTV and TechTV. I happen to have probably the largest linkbases of fansites and sites containing the content from the network in existence. You should really check it out. Whether you want graphics, audio, video, episodes, or articles, I have it all. Take a look by using the links button in the menu to the left, or just click here.
You should also see the TechTV downloads section using the menu, or >clicking here. It contains lots of "internal" logos (psd source files), a font of Cat's handwriting, as well as many other interesting things. Enjoy it all!
Sorry for being all geeky with you, but I have to firstly say that it is a big deal that the Power Rangers have been going for 15 years. I have grown up watching them, and although I miss the "old days" I must say I still enjoy collecting toys and such from my childhood related to the series. I am jealous of everybody who went to Power Morphicon, which had many of the series' actors, as well as great stuff for sale, and more! There are pictures and videos over at rangerboard for those of you who are interested, and soon there will be a 15th anniversary episode of Operation Overdrive, which will feature some of the stars from the past in a teamup. It has something to do with an evil son of Lord Zedd and Rita coming onto the scene.
Whatever the case, may Power Rangers continue, and go and be as successful and long-running as Japan's Super Sentai is proving to be! To top it all off, here is a good music video that includes clips from all 15 seasons so far! Enjoy!
This photo is of a 1963 Rambler American parts car that my Dad and I have been stripping for parts. See anything dangerous in the picture? It is held on one side by a chain hooked to a tractor, and supported on the other side by a couple of boards..And yes, we have been crawling underneath taking stuff apart. Did I mention this thing is heavy- made of entirely steel.
Thanks to information to the InsideMicrosoft blog, I have managed to find these patches which are destined to be released on a Patch Tuesday in the future, so that you can try them. I do have Vista dual booting on my laptop..I prefer Kubuntu (but I digress). These patches have improved my Vista installation significantly. I can't believe I'm saying this, but kudos to Microsoft for fixing a lot of what made Vista feel like ME 2.0.
The full features of these fixes (both x86 and 64 bit) are below. Download links are below, please pick the archive with the patches for your architecture. (Disclaimer: If these break your computer it isn't my fault.)
