We all know that Google indexes nearly everything. Secret cellular provider sites are not an exception. There are three that I have run across so far, and only one is currently useful to regular people like us, but they are still interesting to look at. Anything illegal that you do with these sites is not my fault, although I sincerely hope you won't try anything like that.
T-Mobile Compass - Personal Coverage Check, which is useful for finding out where their coverage exists.
T-Mobile Watson - Used by reps to activate phones
Sprint Activation Console (Java Popup) - Used by reps to activate phones
Bonus: Mindful Musings Cellupload Files - great resource for cellular tools, many of which are useful for hacking and modding your phone. You may want to get a data cable off of eBay.

These really require no introduction. I found these on Google, and thought that you would enjoy these, and perhaps give you a healthy laugh at Microsoft's expense.
A lovely shot in Times Square A good shot of a BSOD on a billboard with a really small resolution. And what appears to be a European billboard running XP, 2K or Vista with the BSOD.

I haven't checked any of these with VOPBuster yet, but I recently ran across some "Vendor Phone Numbers" for some major companies. I am unsure what exactly they are for, but I am sure somebody out there could use them. So, without further ado, here you go:

Why does my college have to use the Websense filter? It uselessly blocks sites that aren't "inappropriate." Some sites it started blocking recently include Paypal (WHAT THE HECK!!?), as well as I-Hacked, which is a site about modifying electronics. That site involves very little nefarious activity. What's next? Are they going to block Google?
My solution: use Torpark. It was hard to get, since its download site was also blocked, but I typed in "intitle:index.of torpark" into Google and found a directory with the file...So that works..Another solution is to use LogMeIn and a remote computer.
Whatever the case, these filters contribute to my high tuition costs (and they constantly inflate), as well as stress.

Ever since Skype started charging for their service, many people (and phreaks/pranksters hehehe...) have looked for alternatives for the freebie service. I discovered this service while surfing on the PLA forums, and am pretty happy with the service. It seems the client is a reverse-engineered version of Skype, and all you do is sign up for the free version of the service, and then download and run the client. Just plug in your username and password, and go to the dialpad. The service is offered free in multiple countries, including the USA. There are other features, like instant messaging, as well as free calls to other VOIPBuster members...Give it a try, and enjoy!
