Thanks for your recent submission to 2600. We're pleased to inform you
that it has been selected for inclusion in a future issue. In most cases
this means it will appear in the next issue. Due to space considerations,
it's possible that it could show up in a later one instead. We will be
sure to let you know as soon as it's finalized. Thanks for writing!

I will post more details as they come, but the article has something to do with this page.
Optimus Blog:"There's no way back, 'big' Optimus will be released this year..."
Although the date has been pushed back time and time again, we know that this is legit because of the Mini-Three. Our patience will finally be rewarded this year, hopefully. One of the most sought-after and long awaited devices is finally going to be available this year, the Optimus LCD Fullsize Keyboard. Many of us geeks have been drooling over the concept since 2005 now, and it is about time! These things are going to be really slick, and I can't wait to see what can be done with them, application-wise, as well as mods. The first Optimus product released was the mini-three, a "little brother" to the fullsize keyboard. It only had three LED display buttons, but as demonstration videos have shown, they are very impressive. It has even been implemented into another product, which is very good, because it shows what potential these LED keyboards really have. I can't wait!
The Optimus Keyboard
Also coming this year from the Art Lebedev studio is the Upravlator keyboard, a touchscreen designed to provide tactile feedback, which will be really cool too!
A relative sent this to me and I thought I would pass it along...

For all of us who feel only the deepest love and affection for the way
computers have enhanced our lives, read on.
At a recent computer expo (COMDEX), Bill Gates reportedly compared the
computer industry with the auto industry and stated,
"If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would
all be driving $25.00 cars that got 1,000 miles to the gallon."
In response to Bill's comments, General Motors issued a press release
stating:
If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would all be driving cars
with the following characteristics:
1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash........
Twice a day.
2. Every time they repainted the lines in the road, you would have to buy a
new car.
3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason. You would
have to pull to the side of the road, close all of the windows, shut off the
car, restart it, and reopen the windows before you could continue. For some
reason you would simply accept this.
4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn would cause your
car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to
reinstall the engine.
These, as well as MANY others, as well as images, and more can be found in the Fox Kids archive, located in the download section. These are posted for archivial purposes only, and if you own the rights to these and would like to have me take them down, contact me and I will do so promptly. Look for more featured flash and stuff from Fox Kids later on.
That said, here is the "Other Guys" flash animation that discusses the minor roles in the Power Rangers Lost Galaxy series:
And here are a couple of Power Rangers: SPD Sneak Peeks:
I have been doing lots of things to the site lately, including the template changes, as well as adding a more structured way to download files. Obviously, not very many people have caught onto this, and haven't realized that there are new downloads there. Some of those include Power Rangers related stuff, but more notably is the old Fox Kids commercials, as well as the bumpers and previews from the channel. There is some Nickelodeon and CBS kids stuff in there too, and I plan to upload even more, inluding some of those networks' old TV shows (archivial purposes only, of course) in the near future. Until then, go to the downloads section and check it all out!
Besides that, I have another head exploding article coming, and I will post it once I find out whether or not 2600 publishes it. I can't publish anything they do of mine until I find out, because it can only be posted after the issue debuts...it involves internet archaeology, and you can see my findings until then in the downloads section. The TechTV archaeology and FoxKids archaeology files are full of tons of neat stuff. Maybe I will post some of the original items here later on.
Until then, keep checking back. By "near future" I mean within the next couple of weeks.
